  • Filmed for PBS’s Great Performances at a three-day festival at the Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM) celebrating black dance.  Narrated by Geoffrey Holder, Dance Black America brings to the screen the best of black dance through the years, both concert dance by leading black choreographers, and the street and social dance that trace their roots to Africa.
